Presentation Night
After a few difficult years with covid and bad weather it was great to see so many members at the annual presentation evening. Captain Fin kicked off with a brief overview of the year with particular mention of the tremendous successes of the various teams representing the club.
Although the Hadrian League only finished 3rd they managed to pick up a few trophies on the way with Ben Lee winning the player of the year award and the Captain & Vice (Fin & Martin) winning the Anniversary Cup. The Seniors won the Seniors League and, to top it all off, the mixed team got all the way to the final of the British Inter-Club Mixed Team Championship in Portugal, only losing to a much larger club. Not bad for a small club in Northumberland who consistently punch above their weight.
The trophy presentation proceeded with the Juniors, Mixed, Ladies, Seniors and finally, after a short break the Gents trophies.
A special mention was made of Hannah Kennedy who had a tremendous year, winning more trophies than she could carry and Steven Cram winning the Club Championship for the second year in succession, breaking his own record as the oldest winner.

Entertainments
The club are looking for someone to run a monthly quiz, anyone interested please speak to Russell who will be happy to discuss further.
Pro's Shop Sale Night
On the evening of Wednesday 14th December we will be hosting a Christmas Sale night from 4PM - 7.30PM with Complimentary Mulled Wine and Mince Pies on arrival. This will be a great opportunity to pick up gifts for your loved ones this Christmas, and even better with great discounted prices. Myself and Archie look forward to welcoming you all on the evening!
New Years Eve Celebration
With the Party season almost here , if you haven't already made arrangements, why don't you toast in the New Year at the Golf Club. Russell has booked an entertainer and will be serving a home cooked buffet with a selection of drinks. Also Bubbly and Shortbread will be served at Midnight (see below).
Also during December you can get any Machine Coffee and a sweet mince pie for only £2.50. So why not pop along to the club and enjoy some festive food and drink.
